Stephen Trimble is a Torrey writer and photographer. He is also the recipient of the Entrada Institute’s Ward Roylance Award.
In addition, he is an advisor to The Nature Conservancy, with the opportunity to recommend places in the Canyon Country to preserve for our grandchildren’s grandchildren.
Steve spoke at the Saturday Sunset Series event in August 2011. Trimble set the scene by describing this moment in conservation history on the Colorado Plateau—and he was looking for ideas. He asked: What landscapes would you save? How can we find common ground as we make these decisions together?
